These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the services provided by HULP (“HULP”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not use HULP.

1. About HULP

HULP is a personal life assistance service that provides human-led assistance for personal, household, travel, and administrative tasks. Services are delivered through trained personal assistants (“PAs”), supported by internal systems and technology.

HULP does not operate as:

• An on-demand marketplace

• A gig-work platform

• An automated AI-only service

2. Scope of Services

• HULP assists users in coordinating, managing, and executing tasks as requested.

• All services are provided on a best-effort basis, subject to feasibility, availability, and applicable laws.

• Certain requests may require third-party vendors (e.g., airlines, service providers, merchants).

HULP does not guarantee outcomes where execution depends on third parties, external systems, or user-provided information.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and lawful instructions

• Authorise HULP to act on your behalf only within the scope explicitly agreed

• Ensure that any payments, approvals, or permissions required are provided in a timely manner

• Use the service only for lawful purposes

You agree not to request assistance for:

• Illegal activities

• Financial fraud or misrepresentation

• Activities prohibited under Indian law

• Tasks that put PAs or third parties at risk
  
  

HULP reserves the right to refuse any request at its discretion.

4. Payments & Expenses

• Certain services may involve out-of-pocket expenses (tickets, purchases, fees).

• Such expenses will be incurred only with user consent.

• HULP may charge service fees separately, as communicated.

All payments are subject to applicable Indian tax laws, including GST where relevant.

5. Third-Party Services

HULP may interact with third-party providers on your behalf. You acknowledge that:

• Third-party services are governed by their own terms

• HULP is not responsible for third-party failures, delays, or quality

• Any disputes with third parties may require direct resolution

6. Use of Technology & AI

HULP may use internal tools, automation, or AI-assisted systems to:

• Improve response times

• Support task tracking

• Enhance operational efficiency

However:

• Final responsibility remains with human PAs

• AI systems do not make autonomous decisions impacting users without human oversight
  
  

7. Data Privacy & Confidentiality

Your privacy is important to us.

• Personal data is handled in accordance with applicable Indian data protection laws, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and related rules.

• Confidential information shared with HULP is accessed only by authorised personnel.

• HULP does not sell user data.

A detailed Privacy Policy will govern data usage.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under Indian law:

• HULP shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

• HULP’s liability, if any, shall be limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question

• HULP is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate user instructions or third-party actions

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.

9. Service Availability & Termination

• HULP may suspend or terminate services at any time for violation of these Terms.

• Users may discontinue use at their discretion.

• Outstanding obligations or payments remain payable upon termination.
  
  

10. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and materials on the HULP website and platforms are owned by HULP or licensed to us.
No content may be copied, modified, or distributed without prior written consent.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [City, India].

12. Updates to These Terms

HULP may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
